My Name is Sage Nahle and I’m 13 years old. I got interested in volleyball when I saw my cousin playing, and it looked like a lot of fun. After my cousin’s game ended, I asked my dad if I can sign up for volleyball. A few weeks later, I joined a girls volleyball team at Sunland Recreation Center. It was the very first all-girls volleyball team at that park and I really enjoyed the time I spent playing and learning volleyball. After the season was over, I signed up for the LVT volleyball team, so I can keep practicing and playing volleyball. The training was much harder, but it made me a stronger and better player. Recently Sunland Park contacted me and offered me the opportunity to join the Nike Volleyball Camp. I think it is a great opportunity for me to improve my skills in volleyball and learn more about the game.
"The partnership with Play Without Limits has been amazing. Members of the Madison Square Boys & Girls Club have been given the opportunity to attend basketball camps and learn the fundamentals of the game. This has inspired them to trying out for the school teams and to really take their game to the next level. A few of our members were selected to play in a pre-game scrimmage on the world's biggest stage, Madison Square Garden. The skills and drills they learned at camp really paid off. We are truly grateful to be a community partner with Play Without Limits.”
Music has held a special place in my heart for as long as I can remember. With or without words, it speaks to me on every level. It makes me feel so alive! And there is nothing comparable to performing it with my peers. It’s so beautiful, and it’s more therapeutic than anything. It allows my insecurities to fade, and any emotions bottled up inside me pour out, releasing any weight that may have been on my shoulders. Music helped me heal when I thought I couldn't, and it's definitely helped me make some new friends along the way. It isn't just a mix of people, voices and sounds, it's colorful and full of charisma and spunk… and part of my soul.
“As Vice President of US Sports Camps and a former MLB player, I’ve had the privilege of seeing firsthand how the right opportunities can change the course of a young athlete’s life. Partnering with Play Without Limits Project to run the Nike RBI Athletics Baseball Camp in Sacramento brought that belief to life in a powerful way. Their support ensured that kids could step onto the field, access top-tier coaching, and experience something truly special. The camp filled in less than 24 hours, parents calling it the best their child had ever attended, and the highlight came when MLB player Lawrence Butler joined us, inspiring every camper with his story and passion for the game. This collaboration shows what’s possible when we remove barriers and invest in youth experiences. Together, we’re not just running camps—we’re creating moments that build confidence, ignite dreams, and set young athletes on a path to play without limits. I’m proud of what we accomplished and excited for the many more opportunities ahead.”
