RECEIVING A GRANT FROM PWLP

Thank you so much for visiting our website and for your interest in the Play Without Limits Project—we truly appreciate it.

Because we receive a high volume of requests, PWLP currently works with a select group of partner organizations on a rotating yearly schedule. These partners have the staff and experience to review applications for the youth they serve and verify their financial need. At this time, we unfortunately don’t have the capacity to manage individual requests, so our focus remains on fundraising to ensure the support we provide reaches as many kids as possible.

Current partners just to mention a few include Boys and Girls Clubs of America, CASA in MD, Communities in Schools in Atlanta, Beyond the Ball in Chicago, and Del Valle Independent School District in Austin, which serves Title I schools and their outreach programs. If there’s a similar organization in your community, we encourage you to reach out to them and ask if they’d be open to connecting with us for a future year.

We’re working hard to grow our resources and partnerships so that we can open applications more widely in the future. Every donation and collaboration brings us closer to that goal, and we’re excited about what’s ahead.

Thank you again for taking the time to learn about PWLP. Your interest means a lot, and we hope to have the opportunity to work together down the road.

Warmly,

The PWLP Team

My name is Sage Nahle and I’m 13 years old. I got interested in volleyball when I saw my cousin playing, and it looked like a lot of fun. After my cousin’s game ended, I asked my dad if I could sign up for volleyball. A few weeks later, I joined a girls volleyball team at Sunland Recreation Center. It was the very first all-girls volleyball team at that park and I really enjoyed the time I spent playing and learning volleyball.

After the season was over, I signed up for the LVT volleyball team, so I can keep practicing and playing volleyball. The training was much harder, but it made me a stronger and better player. Recently Sunland Park contacted me and offered me the opportunity to join the Nike Volleyball Camp. I think it is a great opportunity for me to improve my skills in volleyball and learn more about the game.
